Artist's Statement: My paintings frequently employ a combination of
realism and impressionism, with a touch of abstract design. My newer
paintings including the Animal Series reflects a connection with the animal
as if both animal and viewer are aware of the other. In addition, I attempt
to apply the illusion of detail in many works so that viewers can use their
imagination to complete the image. Sometimes, less is more!
